A Commitment to Service
One of my earliest memories was my father taking me fishing at Phoenix Lake and the great enjoyment it brought me. I am a life-long resident of Marin, and all my life I’ve visited MMWD lands, which are an important healthy recreation resource for all.
We are fortunate that those lands on which I played as a child are still open to us. I want to preserve them for our families and future generations; we must guard against the threat of fire and ensure we have quality, clean, safe drinking water while keeping water rates as low as possible.
My experience on the San Rafael Recreation and Park Commission and San Rafael Planning Commission has demonstrated my commitment to public service and given me great insight about good governance. I'm the Varsity Football and Head track coach at San Rafael High School. I will listen to you when you have ideas about how MMWD should be run.

Issues We Face
Explore a Greater Change
Mark Lubamersky 2020 is proud to support and push for change throughout the community. This is a very serious issue that has been impacting civilians worldwide. It is up to Mark Lubamersky 2020 to address this issue head on, and rally the support needed to make the proper change. If you would like to find out more information about this issue, as well as others, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Mark is truly passionate about this issue. It is the key to maintaining outstanding water quality we currently enjoy. Short of building a new reservoir or constructing a desalinization plant, both of which are very costly, water conservation and the use of recycled water is the key to allow the needed housing for our community. There needs to be developed a strong relationship between the City of San Rafael and the MMWD. Mark has the experience to build that relationship.
Our community is very important to me. I coach football and track at San Rafael High School. I try to coach more than athletics - I want to help young people grow up to be good citizens.
Vote Lubamersky for MMWD Board.
Developing water rates is one of the most important roles of an MMWD Board Member. There are a number of factors that go into the current rate structure. Mark will work for you the ratepayer to create a more coherent, understandable rate system. The MMWD is the oldest water district in California so it is expected that there will be high infrastructure cost, but the challenge is to balance the needed modernization projects with the ability to afford these projects.
